Who We Are

Mysafehome was originally established in 1997 as David Abbey Consultancy with the sole aim of providing mortgage services for people with disabilities or support needs. Many people with disabilities or support needs have to rely on state benefits to make up their income, however, this needn't prevent them getting a mortgage to buy their own home. It will though restrict the types of mortgages available, and this will be discussed during the advice process.

The creator of the Mysafehome® Solution has more than 20 years experience as a fully qualified financial adviser .

We have obtained hundreds of mortgages from UK banks and building societies. We have specialist knowledge of issues surrounding people with support needs and home ownership and offer clear and professional mortgage advice.

We visit applicants throughout the country therefore providing a ‘face-to-face’ service.

We also offer guidance to those organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors helping them to improve their ability to assist their clients with disabilities or support needs and so inturn help them to become home owners.
