Universal Credit - has your income been cut?

If you or anybody you know has been moved on to Universal Credit and suffered a reduction in income Leigh Day would be extremely grateful if you/they could provide a short summary of the situation, setting out how you/they came to be on Universal Credit and how the loss of income is affecting you/them.
