Steps to Home Ownership

Step 1:

available to ensure independent living is desired and the care package funding is available
Step 2:
Consider funding, house purchase fees and mortgage.
Contact Mysafehome if a mortgage is required
Step 3:
Make a formal application to the housing association
Step 4:
Discuss Income Support Mortgage Interest Benefit and Housing Benefit
with relevant benefit agencies, also implement the Mysafehome® Discovery Process
Step 5:
Identify property if not already done so
Step 6:
Submit mortgage applications and obtain mortgage offer
Step 7:
Solicitor completes legal arrangements
Step 8:
Move in
Step 9:
Complete income support mortgage Interest Benefit Form and Housing Benefit forms. Implement the Mysafehome® Activation Program
Step 10:
Implement support arrangements
